

Our Policies
Should Client(s) need to cancel a schedule lesson, SwimCademe requires at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. If a lesson is canceled within the 72 hours, SwimCademe reserves the right to impose a fee equal to or up to the cost of the lesson(s) canceled.
If a client(s) is/are late to a schedule appointment, SwimCademe request that a reasonable effort be made to contact SwimCademe and inform them of the delay. If the Client(s) is/are more that 10 minutes late and no effort has been made to contact SwimCademe, the lesson will be considered Missed. If lesson(s) is/are missed, SwimCademe reserves the right to impose a fee equal or up to the cost of the lesson(s) missed. Missed lesson(s) may or may not be rescheduled at the discretion of SwimCademe. If the instructor is more than 10 minutes late, the client(s) has/have the right to reschedule the affected lesson(s) or receive a discount on the affected lesson(s). SwimCademe reserves the right to determine discount value. In the event a discount is chosen, SwimCademe reserves the right to change the lesson's time duration.
Makeup Lessons will be issued at the sole discretion of SwimCademe. If SwimCademe need to cancel a lesson, a makeup lesson may be issued. Should there be an issue with reschedule and extensive efforts have been made, SwimCademe reserves the right to determine if a refund equal to or up to cost of the makeup lesson should be issued. See Refund Policy.
In the event of a medical emergency, I hereby give my permission to the physician selected by the SwimCademe staff to hospitalize, secure proper treatment and to order injection, anesthesia or surgery for my child (if participant is under 18 years of age) as named above. I agree to assume full responsibility for the costs of any treatment provided.
Signs of illness include, but are not limited to the following: Fever (100 degrees or greater); complaints of nausea, upset stomach, vomiting, headache, diarrhea 24 hours prior to lesson; development of rash on face or body; severe cold, cough and/or sore throat; and/or difficulty breathing. If participant(s) exhibit any of the above mentioned signs, SwimCademe asks the guardian make a reasonable effort to contact SwimCademe and inform them of the situation. SwimCademe reserves the right to cancel lesson, See Lesson makeup Policy.
SwimCademe reserves the right to cancel any activity if pool sanitation is not within county guidelines. SwimCademe will err on the side of caution if it suspects a pool location or the surrounding environment may pose a health risk. SwimCademe may test water conditions at any time during the lesson to insure safety. If lesson is being preformed in a private pool the owner of the pool is responsible for insuring residual chorine is 1.0-10.0ppm, and ph is maintained between 7.2 and 7.8.
SwimCademe will not issue refunds unless extensive efforts have been made to rectify the situation. SwimCademe reserves the right to issue refund(s) on a case by case basis. SwimCademe reserves the right to determine the amount of refund, which may or may not include any fees associated with client's account.
I, Guardian's name, on behalf of myself and my child(ern), participant's full name, have voluntarily requested to participate in the aquatics program(s) offered by SwimCademe. I am aware that attending or participating in these activities involves risk of injury to property and person, which could include drowning or death. I voluntarily accept and assume all risk from attending or participating in these activities. In consideration of being permitted to participate in these activities, I agree, on my own behalf and my child(ern), our heirs, personal representatives and assignees, not to make any claim against or sue SwimCademe, their employees, officers, directors, agents, or members (collectively referred as the “Released Party”) for any personal injuries to my child(ern) or myself, which could include drowning or death, arising from negligence, active or passive, or other acts, however caused, by the Released Party.In addition, I release and discharge the Released Party from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I or my child(ern), our heirs, personal representatives and assignees have or may hereafter have for personal injuries to my child(ern) or myself, which could include drowning or include drowning or death, or property damage resulting because of the actives described above. This release includes injury, which could include drowning or death, or damage caused by negligence, active or passive , or other acts, however caused, by the Release Party.
SwimCademe does its best to make weather-related decisions in a timely manner, however it is not always possible. SwimCademe reserves the right to cancel lesson because of weather, including but not limited to the following: If the outside air temperature is below 68 degrees 30 minutes before the lesson starts; In the event of severe weather (lightning and storms) lessons will not resume until 30 minutes after the last sighting of lightning or sound of thunder; and/or if weather prohibits visibility of the pool bottom. SwimCademe reserves the right to determine if weather conditions are safe to proceed with schedule lesson(s) or if the lesson(s) will be canceled.
